I am a systems analyst by day (BTW, it's a curse - I can't look at anything without analysing the blink'n thing in great detail); jammers like the AXiS and Thummer are wonderful challenges for my brain. Here is how an Axis-49 is mated with it's netbook.
They are velcroed together, bottom to bottom, with velcro strips at the end. I also got a less risky, shorter "right-angle USB cable from Firewire USA.
The velcro strip near the middle is to hold it down so it doesn't slip on tables and such: I plan to have a gig configuration, when I get that far.
