I've been following your posts for some time now, but I'm a little confused about the kit to be honest. What will be included? What willl we need to supply, in materials and tools? What exactly will we have when it is all done (that is to say, what will the form factor be like)? Will it be like your first, smaller keyboard, or the second, larger one, or something else? I've been using the thummer layout with my computer keyboard, and I like it a lot - though I can play linear keyboard okay, and I have a reasonable amount of theory knowledge, it simplifies things quite a bit. I will likely buy a kit if you can answer these questions and tell us the price. Thanks for undertaking this project.
Good Question - and your question is very timely.

I hope to supply a nearly complete kit to make the second, larger keyboard you can see in the pictures, not the smaller, wearable one, from a M-Audio 88es, 61es, or possibly the 49 key variant.
To wit:
- 88 /66/49 key-bases to replace the standard keys
- 120 / 100 / 70-odd clear acrylic key caps, for either Janko [square] or jammer layout (The colour comes from paint on the underside.).
- Sides for the new case, like the black ones you can see
- the bottom of the case - I make or may not pre-drill the keyboard assembly mounting holes.
2 top panels for the new case
- an extension cable to link the 2 halves of the keyboard assembly.

We (as a group) will have to figure out how the make the thumb-controls. I have not got that far yet.

You will have to supply the hacksaw, screwdrivers, paint and M-Audio keyboard, BTW, I have struck a deal for a discount from M-Audio.
